Verity Schoolhouse exists to support families who desire a faithful, life-giving education rooted in Christian truth. We partner intentionally with parents, offering a three day program designed to enrich and complement what students learn at home.

Our approach blends the best of the Charlotte Mason philosophy with a warm community, small class sizes, and a curriculum that invites wonder. We purposefully slow down, read deeply, and seek God’s beauty woven through every subject.

Our Program
 Verity Schoolhouse offers a structured three-day academic and nature-based hybrid program for grades PreK–9th. Students engage in:

  • Living books & rich literature
  • Nature study & outdoor exploration
  • Hands-on science with real-world observation
  • Art, music, and handicrafts
  • Habit training & spiritual formation
  • Narration, discussion, and written expression
  • Gentle but thorough math, language arts, and humanities instruction

Our program is thoughtfully designed to lighten the load for homeschooling families while maintaining parent-led learning at home.


SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE

  • Monday-Thursday:
    • Drop off and outdoor playtime (8:15-8:30)
    • Morning time – all students together learning hymns, poetry, and prayer (8:30-9:00)
    • Bible (9:00-9:30)
    • Core class 1 (9:30-10:00)
    • Recess (10:00-10:45)
    • Core class 2 (10:45-11:15)
    • Wonder Hour (11:15-12:00)
    • Lunch (12:00-1:15)
    • Habits (1:15-1:30)
    • History (1:30-2:00)
    • Praise and Prayer (2:00-2:30)
    • Stewardship/Chores (2:30-2:45)
    • Pick Up and Outdoor playtime (2:45-3:00)
  • Fridays:
    • Drop off and outdoor playtime (9:00-9:10)
    • Morning Time: (9:10-9:30)
    • From 9:30-11:30 groups cycle through projects, reading, experiments, nature walks, and snack time.
    • Clean up/playtime (11:30-11:50)
    • Pick up (11:50-12:00)

Schedules vary by age, ensuring rest, movement, and delight.
